Hello World...

Daft is defined as crazy, foolish, or silly. Technology startups are beginning to sound daft. "You're going to get into a stranger's car? You're going to live in a stranger's apartment? You'll talk to a computer, which will do your work for you?"
But then they became mainstream, ergo Uber, Airbnb, and OpenAI. All were laughed at and mocked to begin with, but they are now ubiquitous tools in our daily lives.
At Daft Capital, we back the relentless founders who defy convention.
Founded by Jon Dishotsky, I've gone on a journey from my roots in Palo Alto to a career in entrepreneurship and investing in San Francisco.
Across that timeline, I've had the fortune of intersecting with some of the world's best builders. They all share a unique set of traits that we intend to continue to support: a little crazy, a little foolish, and naughty enough to sometimes be considered silly.
We're not afraid to invest boldly and flexibly, providing rapid, founder-friendly support to startups poised for explosive growth.
Daft Capital measures success not just by financial returns but also by the lifetime of partnerships we form, and by the lasting impact, our founders have on industries, communities, and the world.
Hello World. Daft Capital is alive.
